Module Three: Financial Fluency

Dear Participants of the Section Heads Leadership Development Program:


The Royal Academy of Management is looking forward to get your feedback on Module Three. Therefore, you are kindly required to complete the program evaluation survey. Module Content:

Day One:
The Session helped me understand why finance is central to Oman Vision 2040.
This day helped me gain skills and ideas relevant to my work.
I feel more confident interpreting balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements after this session.
The session on financial ratios improved my ability to assess organizational health and performance.
There was active engagement and interaction during the activities.
The simulation helped me better understand how to evaluate feasibility and risks in projects.

Day Two:
The examples from the private sector helped me see how efficiency improvements can inspire public-sector practices.
The company builder exercise gave me insight on the impact of decision-making in my institution.
The cash flow breakout exercise helped me understand how different organizations manage operational investment and financing cash differently.
The session was useful in learning different AI models using interactive tools.

Day Three:
The session helped me understand how the target operating module in my institution will help shape vision 2040.
The session enhanced my understanding of how governments and companies plan resources and prepare budgets.
The session helped me better understand how to evaluate investment projects using NPV, IRR, and payback methods.
The session helped me understand how to integrate the PPP approach to a potential engagement with a private company in my responsibilities.
